The Democratic National Convention was supposed to be in Milwaukee this year, but the pandemic derailed that plan. Instead, the DNC is all virtual, with the control center in Milwaukee and speakers streaming in from all over the U.S.
Speeches, performances, and keynote addresses start Monday, when Sen. Bernie Sanders and former first lady Michelle Obama will talk. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez speaks Tuesday, while Sen. Kamala Harris and former President Barack Obama speak on Wednesday night. The schedule of speakers concludes with former Vice President Joe Biden's livestreamed acceptance speech on Thursday at 10 p.m. ET.
Celebs, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who played the vice president (and president) on HBO's Veep, Billie Eilish, and Kerry Washington will make appearances at the Democratic National Convention as well.
Here's all the ways to watch the DNC Monday through Thursday, starting every night at 9 p.m. ET:
There's the Democratic National Convention website if you want to watch the livestream direct from the source.
Find a "watch party" hosted by political and pop culture celebs, like actors Connie Britton (hosting Wednesday with New Hampshire for Biden) and Alyssa Milano (hosting Wednesday with Colorado Democrats). Former presidential contender Pete Buttigieg has a long list of events throughout the week, all accessible through his online "Convention Pass."
Turn on most streaming platforms, including Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Amazon Prime Video, and search for "Democratic National Convention” or “2020 DNC." That'll open a stream through Endavo.
Or head to Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube to stream the Democratic National Convention.
If you have a PlayStation 4, you can watch the DNC on the Littlstar app
On any Amazon Alexa device, say, “Alexa, play the Democratic National Convention” for an audio stream.
For an offline experience, some states are setting up drive-in screenings of the Democratic convention. The Massachusetts Democratic Party is holding one Wednesday at Boston's Suffolk Downs racetrack.
