Apple's Vision Pro is currently only sold in the U.S., but that might change soon.
According to MacRumors, the code in visionOS, the software platform for Apple's Vision Pro headset, indicates that Apple is about to add support for new languages on the Vision Pro's virtual keyboard.
SEE ALSO: Apple Vision Pro teardown: What's inside the $3,500 headsetIn total, 12 new languages will be added: Chinese (Simplified), English (Australia), English (Canada), English (Japan), English (Singapore), English (Singapore), English (UK), French (Canada), French (France), German (Germany), Japanese, and Korean.
This in turn probably means that Apple plans to launch the Vision Pro in Australia, Canada, China, France, German, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and the UK next, with Hong Kong and Taiwan being potential candidates as well. None of this is official, of course, and it doesn't mean that the Vision Pro is coming to all of these countries and regions at the same time, but it does provide some indication of Apple's plans for the headset.
Apple originally launched the Vision Pro in the U.S. in February, and at the time the company provided only very vague info on when it may launch elsewhere, saying the headset would be coming to additional countries later this year.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted in January that Apple would launch the Vision Pro internationally ahead of the company's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which will likely take place in June 2024.
