To all the frustrated Americans struggling to find coronavirus tests amidst a national surge in cases, President Joe Biden has inspiring words of advice: Have you tried Googling it?
Biden issued that insightful tip Wednesday, more than two weeks after he promised to make 500 million coronavirus tests available, free of charge. It appears that, as we all wait for the U.S. government to deliver on that already too-late promise, we're being left to our own devices.
"I know COVID testing remains frustrating, but we are making improvements," wrote the president. "Google 'COVID test near me' to find the nearest site where you can get a test."

Why didn't anyone else think of that?
Of course, while Biden may not realize it, Googling for hard-to-find coronavirus tests is often the very first thing people try.
We reached out to Google to determine if the White House coordinated Wednesday's message in any way with the company, and what steps Google takes to ensure results from the search "COVID test near me" are accurate, scam free, and locationally relevant. We received no immediate response.
In the meantime, Americans shared their appreciation for Biden's helpful advice.

Huh, maybe they should try Bing?
